Little Shara was a very scenic and expensive place to visit. If you are in for sandboarding, you will have to commit to climb up the dunes every time you slide down

"Free entry" sign out the front is a little misleading even though it's free to walk in. Used to be free to sandboard and now charge an arm and a leg instead of a small fee. Even if you're local and bring your own sandboard. $40 to rent a sandboard for 1 hour and $20 per board if you bring your own. Even charge an extra $10 for helmets. Absolutely ridiculous.

I wouldn't bother unless it becomes reasonably priced.

Fun experience for those with at least a moderate level of fitness. Going up and down the dunes is a fair bit of exercise. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Felt misled that the sign said 'free entry', yet the cost to sand board is $37 for one hour (with second hour free), to me that seems absurdly expensive. Drinks there are also way overpriced, (I recommend buying what you need from the supermarket that supports many youth there) Action Adventures also wanted to charge $10 for helmet hire with a sign that said 'unless your head is harder than a coconut', to me that's just trying to gouge more money out of the customer from an already expensive trip to a sand dune. Most of the positive reviews are from over a year ago when the dune was free.

Worth the climb, beautiful views and fun sliding down. It would be better if they have like rubber mat to climb up for less able and old people who is not doing the tobaggon but want to experience the views.
